"Sushi We Can Believe In. Yes We Can."
A friend recently linked me to this article not telling me what I was going to see. When the screen came up, I instantly laughed... "Look at those! That sushi looks just like Barack Obama!"
According to the this chef who is also a teacher at Tokyo University, he spent large amounts of time working to get these Obama futomaki rolls just right.
For his ingredients he used brown rice for the skin, black sesame seeds for the hair, tiny shrimp for the lips and a fish paste for Obama's smile. Looks good to me!
What a creative chef! I'd say he succeeded in paying tribute to our president in his delicious display above. Looks good enough to eat!

Some of My Favorite Japanese Appetizers
When my friends and I head out for Japanese appetizers, we have our usuals. Sometimes we switch it up, but on this particular night these were our dishes.
Beef tongue
Dried stingray fin
Grilled teriyaki squid
Gyoza
Potato
Sausages
Yakitori
And of course... the boys have to have their beer and sake.
